• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification and ACLS Certification prior to first shift. Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
• Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing individualized care plans, initiating discharge planning from the day of admission, and providing supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
• Participates in patient rehabilitation programs on an assigned unit and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Ensures accurate, succinct, and timely documentation of all assessments and interventions in accordance with hospital policies.
• Demonstrates a focus on patient safety, infection control, and safe patient handling by adhering to all safety guidelines and promoting a safe environment.
• Assumes charge responsibilities after the orientation period and actively pursues professional development through continuing education.
