Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Location: Outpatient setting
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid registered nursing license in the state of practice, BLS certification; experience in the clinical area for which applying is preferred but not mandatory
• Responsibilities include:
  • Assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
  • Reviewing patient history, physicals, diagnostics, and laboratory data
  • Formulating and initiating individualized care plans, including discharge planning
  • Implementing care through direct patient interaction, delegation, and supervision of team members
  • Evaluating patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
  • Documenting assessments, care plans, interventions, and responses accurately and timely
  • Participating in research activities and quality improvement initiatives, supporting professional growth and team development
  • Interacting with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and external providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Contributing to a safe and supportive healthcare environment in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
