The nurse will work night shifts in a dynamic environment requiring critical thinking and team collaboration.

Job Details

• Position: Step Down Nurse Cardiac Stepdown Unit
• Location: Henrico, VA
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications, must be able to read cardiac monitor, able to give narcotics, valid Virginia RN license, associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, 0 years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Stepdown experience, cardiac knowledge
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include rhythm interpretation every 4 hours, vital signs and assessments every 4 hours, and adherence to unit policies such as dress code and unit guidelines. Overtime is available, with every other weekend work expected. Ongoing competency in critical thinking, teamwork, and compassion is essential for success in this role.
