Description

Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in a healthcare organization. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing imaging procedures, moderate sedation, and related interventions within a clinical setting. The role requires a nurse licensed in the state, with relevant experience supporting diagnostic imaging and adult acute care.

Job Details

  • Certifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Location Requirements: Valid CA RN license in hand required.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology, adult acute care, or diagnostic imaging preferred.
  • Schedule: 10-hour days, shifts starting within 7 or 8 am, working at least 40 hours per week.
  • Additional clinical responsibilities include supporting imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology, including IV support, patient prep, moderate sedation, monitoring, and recovery.
  • Ability to wear lead aprons and enter MRI environments as needed.
  • The position involves floating to other UCSF facilities as required.
  • References must be in hand at time of submission, with two references from the most recent employer.
  • Submission requires completed references and relevant certifications.
