Operating Room Technologist (ORT) Surgical Technician, located in the healthcare facility environment. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures within a Level 1 trauma setting, requiring a high level of technical skill, flexibility, and experience, particularly with trauma cases and diverse surgical specialties.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must start on 09/21/2026. This role is a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technologist) responsible for assisting with various surgical procedures, including orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro surgeries. Must have large trauma level 1 experience within the last year and at least 2 years of operating room experience.
• Certifications and Education: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association; NBSTSA certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Experience Requirements: 0 years minimum, but candidates should have recent trauma experience, including Level 1 trauma experience within the last year, and a solid knowledge base in multiple surgical specialties.
• Additional Information: Effective and flexible coverage is required, including working weekends, call, and up to 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Day). Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended, with vehicles equipped for all-season or snow tires during November through April.
• Submission Requirements: All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and full work history including bed count, electronic medical record system (EMR), and facility type must be complete for submission. No block schedules are permitted, and work history must reflect all relevant details.
