Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Brenham, TX. This position involves providing direct patient care in a hospital inpatient setting, focusing on medical-surgical and intermediate care unit patients. The RN will utilize clinical judgment to assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate care delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certification/Degree Requirements: RN, BLS, ACLS. Education and experience include 4 years of experience in telemetry and IMCU.
- Location Requirements: Must be able to work in Brenham, TX.
- Schedule: Evening shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/20/2026.
- Responsibilities: Conduct accurate clinical assessments, develop and evaluate nursing plans of care, support evidence-based practice, create a compassionate environment, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Additional Information: The RN will manage 1 to 5 medical-surgical patients and 1 to 4 IMCU patients, working rotating weekends as part of the team. Submission of current licensure and certifications is required for consideration.
