Job Summary
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill children in a healthcare organization. This position involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification are required. Additional certifications or continuing education may be preferred.
• Education Requirements: Current RN licensure. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience Requirements: 0 years minimum experience required; experience in a pediatric intensive care setting is desired.
• Location Requirements: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or equivalent.
• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 11/02/2026
• End Date: 01/30/2027
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and transferring patients, with the potential to lift up to 75 pounds. Effective communication, fine motor skills, and proper body mechanics are essential to ensure safety and quality of care. The position may involve working in environments where standard precautions are necessary due to exposure risks.
