The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) professional in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized surgical support and care within the operational theater, supporting various complex procedures including orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and robotic surgeries. Job Details

• Position Description: Start date: 09/28/2026, end date: 12/28/2026. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, with open to first-time candidates. Certifications required include Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), and a valid State license.
• Certifications & Education Requirements: Current BCLS certification and valid State license are mandatory.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Candidates may be expected to float between units and sister facilities as needed. Candidates must be flexible to work 3 out of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• Experience & Skills: Candidates should have experience with abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, breast augmentation, cholecystectomy, colon resection, cystoscopy, gynecologic robotic surgery, hernia repair, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic procedures, total joint replacement, and urologic robotic surgery. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at a Providence facility, along with two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last three years.
• On-Call & RTO: On-call rotation is required (2-3 shifts in a 6-week cycle). Requests for time off (RTO) must be included at submission; no post-offer RTO requests are guaranteed.
