The role involves functioning in a flexible, fast-paced environment to support seamless patient flow, with a focus on intake, bed control, transfers, and bed placement coordination.

Job Details

• Position Description: House Supervisor/Bed Placement RN Coordinator responsible for functioning in the Admit / Transfer Center at a Level II Trauma Center. May work flexible shift lengths of 10 or 12 hours. Position requires at least 2 years of experience as a house supervisor or transfer center experience.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: WA RN License, minimum 1 year experience as a house supervisor or transfer center experience, with skills in Crisis Intervention/Management, Emergency Department, emergency preparedness, facility/bed diversion, ICU, inpatient acute care, MS/Tele, new admissions, NICU, organizational escalation process for facility, pediatrics, PICU, post procedures, post-surgery, surgical services, transfer to higher level care, and charting system experience with Epic.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must have experience with intake, bed control, transfers, bed placement, and special equipment. This is a no patient contact position working closely with the house supervisor. Candidates must be flexible to work on holidays and adhere to scheduling requests specified during application.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should include responses to specific questions regarding prior employment at Providence facilities, references covering 1 year of employment (6 months for CNAs), and detailed scheduling preferences.
