Job Summary
Pre-Operative (Pre Op) Registered Nurse in the therapeutic area of surgery and outpatient procedures. The role involves providing quality nursing care to patients prior to surgical or diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and coordinating care with the healthcare team within a facility setting.
Job Details
- Position Type: Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (Pre Op)
- Location: [Location Not Specified]
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with variable start times between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM, ending between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: CA RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications; at least 3 years of experience with charge experience, patient ratio experience, and charting system experience in Epic; experience with outpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.
- Additional Qualifications: Experience in pre-operative patient management, anesthesia coordination, and post-procedure instructions.
- Responsibilities include: Preparing and assessing patients before surgery, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, providing patient education, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Submission Requirements: Valid CA RN license, current certifications, proof of minimum experience, and references.
