Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for a healthcare provider in the region. This role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment. The position requires versatile skills and the ability to adapt to varying shifts and patient needs.

Job Details

  • Position Description: ER RN providing competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with departmental policies, scientific principles, evidence-based nursing practice, and standards of care.
  • Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, 1 year of ER RN experience, Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, experience with charting system (Epic), community hospital experience, travel experience required.
  • Additional Qualifications: Skills include management of arterial lines, ventilated patients, chest tubes, procedural sedation, code stroke, neuro-trauma, and more. Certifications must be current and uploaded with valid expiration dates.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts ranging from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with on-call and weekend rotation required.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide current licensure, certifications, and references within the last year; all documentation must be submitted ahead of the start date.
  • Additional information: An orientation of 72 hours is required, and compliance with onboarding and work history verification policies must be met prior to start.
