Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Nurse in the region surrounding the healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-surgical and acute diagnoses, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position requires a focus on critical thinking and advanced patient management skills.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular
- Location: Region surrounding the healthcare organization
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate Nursing Degree, ACLS, BLS, minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience
- Preferred Qualifications: CVICU experience, CCRN certification preferred
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 8
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 with occasional 1:1
- Equipment: Impella, IABP, CRRT
- Electronic Health Record: Cerner
- Additional Notes:
- Must have strong critical thinking skills
- Experience in treating CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids is preferred
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the above qualifications and be available to start on or after 09/28/2026, with an end date of 12/28/2026.
