Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse This role is based at a healthcare facility providing specialized care to long-term and skilled patients. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering patient care in a telemetry setting, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policies. The position requires critical thinking, leadership, and clinical proficiency to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Job Details
- Position Description: The LTC Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures.
- Required Qualifications: Must have 2 years recent Skilled Registered Nurse experience; ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association; vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines, and preferred wound care experience; NC or multi-state compact Registered Nurse license; must be attached to resume.
- Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Shifts may vary, including Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday one week, and Wednesday, Thursday, plus the same weekend schedule the next week. On-call duties required one weekend per month. Candidates must use the provided template for application submissions.
