Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a rural healthcare facility. This role involves circulating and recovering patients in a surgical setting, with on-call responsibilities and adherence to specialized procedures including endoscopy.

Job Details

• Certifications and Education Requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications; valid license in the applicable state; minimum of 1 year of OR experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Circulate and recover patients in the surgical environment, perform procedures such as appendectomy, colonoscopy, hernia repair, total joint replacement, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), among others.
• Additional Requirements: Experience in ambulatory surgery, ability to handle trauma cases, and familiarity with Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with endoscopy procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses to employment history questions, references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, and confirmation of experience with a Providence facility if applicable.
