Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking an ICU Float Registered Nurse for a facility in the local area. This role involves floating between intensive care units, intermediate units, and medical-surgical units as needed, with responsibilities focused on patient care and adaptation to various clinical settings.
Job Details
- Certifications: Must have at least 2 years of recent Emergency Department and/or Intensive Care Unit nursing experience. CPR and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. EPIC experience is preferred.
- Education Requirements: Must fulfill standard nursing licensure requirements.
- Location Requirements: 75 miles or less from the facility qualifies as local.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position involves floating between different units, patient ratios may vary and can be discussed during the interview. Mandatory overtime during the assignment is expected, with inclusion in the rotation pool of staff to provide additional coverage as needed. Orientation sessions are scheduled every Monday, and COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations or medical/religious exemptions are accepted.
