Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Rural Healthcare Facility, Days Shift (09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026) This role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a rural hospital setting, with responsibilities including circulating and recovery duties for surgical patients. The position requires flexibility to manage various surgical procedures and patient needs.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Education/Degree: No specific degree requirement listed
• Location Requirements: Valid state license (compact license required)
• Years of Experience: At least 1 year required, with a minimum of 0 years of experience
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Additional Qualifications: Must have experience in ambulatory operating room, appendectomy, cardiac monitoring, colonoscopy, EGD, electrosurgical units, fire safety, general OR, hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, myringotomy with tubes, pediatric general OR, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, total joint replacement, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), PACU/Recovery Unit, and endoscopy procedures.
• Additional responsibilities: On-call requirement for 2 days a week including holidays and weekends, with 3 weekend on-call shifts per month. Candidates must be able to work 3 of the 5 holidays and request all RTO/scheduling needs upfront.
• Experience requirement: Minimum of 1 year of surgical nursing experience.
• References: Two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Other details: Candidates should not contact facility directly unless for an interview coordinated through the recruitment process. Modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent on pre-start and annual training.
