Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Austin, Texas. This 13-week contract opportunity involves providing specialized emergency care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The role requires active engagement in patient assessment, treatment procedures, and collaboration with medical teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: CONTRACT - RN - ER (Emergency Room) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00A-7:00PNights, weekends rotate; BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS required; No Call
- Unit Information:
- Location: Emergency Department
- Number of Beds: 32+
- Staff: 117 members including RN, CNCs, Medics, and PCTs
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Equipment: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Meditech
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
- Education: Valid RN license
- Experience: 0 years minimum required
- Location: Texas
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must have TNCC and ENPC by start date
- Greater than 2 years of experience is preferred
- Typical procedures include LP, intubations, TNK, lac repair, suture removal, and splinting
- Dress code includes navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweaters
