Job Summary
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Location not specified. This position involves providing specialized cardiac care for patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease, among others. The role requires independent clinical judgment and the ability to manage complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provides routine and complex nursing care for patients with cardiac conditions, including management of cardiac drips, assessment, diagnosis, and patient education.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), ACLS certification from AHA, RN License in the state of employment or compact.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7 AM to 7 PM, starting ASAP.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in telemetry or similar specialized units; ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Additional Information: Newly hired experienced RNs must attend a New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire, with competency validation and ongoing annual training requirements.
- Submission Requirements: Please submit a current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a resume demonstrating relevant experience.
