Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position located in the vicinity of the organization. The role involves providing specialized nursing care on an acute care unit with a focus on neuroscience, stroke, spine surgery, and other medical conditions. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, at least 1 year of relevant experience, experience working on a dedicated neuro unit, Level 1 trauma experience, prior travel experience (no first-time travelers), must have heparin gtt experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, neuro unit experience.
- Responsibilities: Providing care for patients with stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, and other neurosciences. Managing titratable drips, including heparin. Adhering to unit policies including orientation and safety protocols.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN, active IL license or proof of application, agreement to OSF policies, understanding of the alcohol and drug-free environment.
