• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA); minimum 1 year ICU surgical experience; active IL license or initiated application process; last four digits of SSN; confirmation of eligibility for Illinois licensure; understanding of OSF policies and procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience, ICU experience, ability to titrate drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin.
• Responsibilities: Care for post-surgical, trauma, and multi-system trauma patients; manage ventilator equipment including Vents, CPAP, Bipap; read and interpret monitor strips; collaborate with in-house intensivists and telemedicine support; participate in unit-specific orientation and shadowing.
• Schedule and Shift Details: 12-hour night shifts from approximately 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a six-week rotating weekend schedule and holiday coverage every other holiday. Floating may be required, including full teams to lower care levels.
