Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Cardiovascular (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in a 20-bed acute care unit. The role involves caring for post-open heart surgical patients, including those with cardiac procedures, cardiovascular events, ventilated patients, and overflow cases such as COVID-19. The RN will be responsible for managing complex cardiac patients with advanced equipment and protocols.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA); ACLS preferred, CCRN a plus.
• Education Requirements: RN with a valid license to practice.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of recent CVICU experience; 0 years minimum listed.
• Location Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the designated area.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, working 36 hours per week, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Additional Information: This unit manages patients with IABPs, Impellas, Swan Ganz, ECMO, External Pacemakers, and CRRT. The RN must be proficient in all cardiovascular ICU components, including titration of multiple drips, interpretation of monitor strips, and managing ventilated patients. The environment demands strong assessment skills, critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-stress setting.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on 08/31/2026, with an end date of 11/30/2026, and have the ability to float as required.
