Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing patient care on a 39-bed, mixed-acuity medical-surgical unit specializing in adult and elderly patient populations. The role requires timely assessment and management of patients, including the administration of medications such as Cardizem and Amiodarone drips.
Job Details
- Position Description: MS RN needed for an ASAP start, working 12-hour night shifts at a 39-bed facility with a focus on medical, surgical, and step-down care. The patient population includes primarily elderly individuals but also younger adults.
- Certifications: NH Registered Nurse License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required), BLS.
- Education & Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of recent telemetry experience; no specific degree required.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week, every other weekend, rotating holidays.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS; valid NH or Compact RN license; minimum 1.5 years of recent telemetry experience.
- Additional Information: Must have Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience; patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity.
