The role requires collaboration with local family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgeons to ensure an exceptional healing environment tailored to individual patient needs.
Job Details
- Position Description: Medical Surgical Nurses on a general surgical unit specializing in postoperative care, including pain management, mobility, and bedside procedures. Nurses are trained in all aspects of postoperative care within a 32-bed unit.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license in a U.S. state or through a compact license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (HABLSOR RED CROSS Certification or equivalent), associated degree in nursing, two years of experience preferred but will consider 18 months with a recent one-year in the specialty, and the ability to work in Alabama.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Willingness to float to other units and hospitals is required. Candidates should be flexible to accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Timesheet approval will be handled by designated personnel, and parking is available.
