Medical Surgical with Telemetry nurses are needed in a healthcare facility to provide specialized patient care. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing services to patients with various medical needs, including those requiring renal and dialysis support, during night shifts. The position requires adaptability to float between units and hospitals to meet the organizations operational needs.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Position Description: This is a contract role supporting a 36-bed renal unit that cares for patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute or chronic kidney disease requiring renal replacement therapy. The team collaborates closely with nephrologists, family practitioners, and hospitalists to provide comprehensive care, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted), Associate Degree in Nursing, American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification or Red Cross certification, minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry or equivalent, and ability to work 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in renal or dialysis units is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Nurses must be willing to float to other units and hospitals, with the ability to accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Parking is available.
