Job Details

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Certifications Required: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) or Red Cross Certification
• Licenses Required: Registered Nurse license for the state of Alabama or a Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)
• Education: Associate degree in nursing
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience; will consider 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license, with at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• Position involves float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit offers a supportive environment for developing nursing skills, focusing on pain management, mobility, and complication prevention. The team supports up to 36 patients and includes a team leader to assist with staffing needs.
