Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in en_US. This urgent fill assignment is for a duration of approximately 16-26 weeks, offering a dynamic environment with opportunities for float team assignments and holiday schedules. The ideal candidate will have recent relevant experience and meet specific certification and licensure requirements.

Job Details

• Position Description: Urgent fill for RN in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). Assignment duration is 16-26 weeks with a start date of 10/05/2026.
• Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; NIHSS must be completed prior to start. Minimum of 1 year tele monitor experience required. Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post cardiac catheterization care required. Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory. NY state license or proof of application with applied date required at submissionnote licensing may take 6-8 weeks.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN will be assigned to a float team, working a minimum of every other weekend and adjusting schedules to meet patient care needs. The assignment involves working Monday to Sunday with no block schedules. Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled, with the next available orientation on 10/19. All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained. Complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) is required for submission. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
