Job Details

• Position Description: Urgent fill for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) RN assignment lasting 16-26 weeks. The RN will be assigned to float and work in a healthcare facilitys Intermediate Care Unit, providing patient care in a dynamic setting.
• Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; NIHSS required prior to start. Minimum of 1 year tele experience required. Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheter care. Epic electronic health record experience from within the past 2 years is required. NY license or proof of application with an applied date required at submission.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment runs from 10/05/2026 to 01/24/2027.
  • The RN must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Years Day/Eve.
  • This role involves working across a flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday with no block schedules.
  • Bi-weekly orientations scheduled on Mondays, with the next on 10/19.
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
  • Complete work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) are required for submission.
  • Reliable transportation and all-season or snow tires during winter months are strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
  • Must be willing to float to meet unit needs.
