Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU AMBULATORY) Location unspecified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the post-anesthesia recovery setting. Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or equivalent, with BLS certification. A minimum of 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, review diagnostics and laboratory data, formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning. Document all assessments, care provided, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
• Care Delivery: Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing care plans; delegate tasks appropriately; promote continuity of care through effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor patient responses to care, revise plans as needed, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Additional Information: The role may involve supervising staff and workflow in the department. The position requires interacting with various healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care throughout the recovery process.
