Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse
• Location: Alexandria, LA
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; relevant nursing license; no minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for acute care stroke patients; chemo experience is a plus; excellent physical assessment and documentation skills; strong critical thinking and time management skills; familiarity with core measures and HACs/HAIs prevention; NIHSS certification is preferred
• Schedule: Night shifts with rotating weekends, 12 hours each shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Must have at least one year of acute care experience; see unit-specific policies and guidelines for further details; block scheduling available; communication facilitated via mobile app and electronic documentation in every patient room.
