• Position Description:
  This role involves working within a dedicated L&D/ postpartum unit that includes triage beds, postpartum beds, and a nursery. Responsibilities include managing high-risk deliveries, assisting during cesarean sections, and supporting obstetric and neonatal care, following American Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) guidelines. The unit interacts with fetal monitoring systems and Cerner Electronic Medical Records, with on-call support available for neonatologists.
• Required Qualifications:
  Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and fetal monitoring (intermediate or advanced level from AWHONN). Must have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience, including prior travel contract experience preferred. This role requires a licensed healthcare professional with no specified degree requirement and is based in a facility that utilizes Cerner EMR. Candidate must be available for 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026. The candidate must have recent experience circulating in cesarean surgeries.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience working with Spanish-speaking patients and handling high-risk obstetric cases is preferred. Flexibility to float between L&D and postpartum units, with the ability to assist in NICU or other areas within scope, is also preferred.
• Schedule:
  12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts are required every four weeks, and call is optional but preferred. Holidays are typically worked alongside permanent staff.
