Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) in Alaska. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating room environment at a magnet-designated acute hospital. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during various surgical procedures.
Job Details
- Location: Alaska
- Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS (Preferred), CNOR (Preferred)
- Education Requirements: Active Alaska RN license in hand for auto-offer, minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience.
- Schedule: 3x12 Days, shift start times can vary between 6:45 AM to 9:30 AM, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Experience Required: 1+ years of OR nursing experience, with proficiency in caring for trauma patients, and familiarity with electronic charting systems, particularly Epic.
- Additional Responsibilities: May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage for call-offs, and work on-call rotating shifts.
- Patient Care: Provide care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including trauma, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgical cases.
- Schedule and Submission: Candidates must be available to start on 09/28/2026 and commit to working the contracted schedule, including holiday shifts. Must include responses regarding prior experience at Providence facilities and references per policy.
