Correctional / Prison Facility Nursing in Los Angeles County. This position involves providing nursing care within a juvenile correctional environment. The role requires dedication to a 16-week assignment, working evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a secured forensic/correctional setting.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Correctional Nursing juvenile correctional environment
- Location: Los Angeles County
- Schedule: Evening shifts, weekends, and holidays; 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active California RN License; Minimum 1 year of correctional registered nurse experience; AHA BLS; MAB or CPI Certification; LA City Fire & Life Safety Card (must be LA City approved); Ability to obtain LA County Employee Health Clearance; 2 years of related experience, including correctional nursing experience in an inpatient setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Juvenile correctional experience; Working with juvenile inmates
- Responsibilities: Providing nursing care within a juvenile correctional environment, interacting with law enforcement personnel, and working in a secured forensic setting. The position requires full commitment for the entire 16-week assignment.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all listed certifications and licensing prerequisites before start date.
