Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse in Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing care to adult patients with mid to high acuity within a trauma level III recovery unit. The role includes managing patients undergoing general surgery, orthopedic, neuro, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, ENT, and robotics procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Schedule: Days, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: RN degree, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 3 years of experience in a post anesthesia recovery setting
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Unit Profile: 7-bed unit, adult patient population, mid to high acuity cases, trauma level III (performs Level I & II procedures except for Open Hearts)
Responsibilities include providing recovery care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures, with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, utilizing Mindray equipment, and working within a team led by a supervisor.
Additional Notes: Unit covers recovery for general surgery, orthopedic, neuro, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, ENT, and robotics, with on-call for weekends and evenings.
