This position involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within a busy surgical unit, supporting a wide range of procedures including orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and robotics, in a hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Brooksville, Florida
• Shift Time: Days
• Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Position Description: The OR nurse will assist with various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, preparing instruments, and supporting surgeons during operations. Responsibilities include maintaining sterile techniques, monitoring patient vitals, and documenting surgical events.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of OR experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and an active license in good standing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgery and OR circulator roles.
• Schedule: Day shift working 8 hours; scheduled every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
• Additional Information: The unit has 12 operating rooms with a staff of 5 clinicians, including RN circulators and surgical technologists. Candidates should be adaptable to a variable call schedule and team-focused. The hospital values experience in general, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, and robotic procedures.
