Job Summary
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Nurse in St. Louis, MOthis position involves providing direct patient care for orthopedic and medical surgical patients within a 30-bed unit. The role requires utilizing nursing processes for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established healthcare practices and standards.

Job Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg/Orthopedic Specialty at a healthcare facility in St. Louis, MO.
• Requirements: Current RN license (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Schedule: Days shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Utilize nursing processes to deliver patient care, monitor and coordinate activities with ancillary departments, evaluate effectiveness of care, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties consistent with the organizations mission and standards.
• Experience: 1-year experience in Medical Surgical/Orthopedic nursing is preferred; recent graduates with relevant clinical experience may be considered.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities, ensuring professional accountability and coordination of care across departments.
