Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit The organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse to provide advanced care for critically ill newborns. This full-time night shift position offers the opportunity to work independently within a complex clinical environment, delivering both routine and specialized neonatal care to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Full-time night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) in a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with the potential to float to mother/baby units as needed. The role involves practicing independently, applying clinical expertise, and providing both routine and complex neonatal care.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, current STABLE certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, RN license in the state of Texas or in a compact licensing state, and at least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Newly hired experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurses must attend new nurse orientation within the first 30 days of hire, and complete all organizational competency requirements. Previous experience in a Perinatal or Neonatal setting is preferred.
