Description
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D RN) in the area. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, supporting high-risk pregnancies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a short-term acute care facility.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRPSkills
- Education Requirements: Must possess valid state licensure and required certifications.
- Location Requirements: Must have a valid compact license and be within a 50-mile radius.
- Years of Experience: At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Schedule: Nights Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include administering blood and blood products, assisting with high risk deliveries, conducting sterile speculum exams, managing postpartum care, and utilizing Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring systems.
- Additional information: Must be flexible to float between units; previous experience with Epic charting system required.
- Submission requirements: Candidates should include responses regarding previous experience at a Providence facility and provide two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
