Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in en_US This position involves providing specialized care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The role requires experience managing high acuity obstetric patients and responding to emergent situations with proficiency in postpartum treatments and procedures.
Job Details
- Position Description: The role involves delivering high risk obstetric care, including postpartum treatment following delivery, managing postpartum hemorrhage, and supporting patients through labor and recovery.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- Education & Experience Requirements: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 2 years of obstetric care experience, with a minimum of 1 year of specific labor and delivery experience, and proficient in EPIC electronic health records.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts on days, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum care, and familiarity with JADA (Joint Accreditation for Durable Medical Equipment, though context indicates clinical relevance).
- Additional Information: The position includes working 6 weekend days per contract, with specific holiday requirements. Candidates are expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility and must be flexible with scheduling and RTO requests made upfront during submission.
- Submission Requirements: Include responses to the question regarding prior work at a healthcare facility under the same organization, along with two recent references covering at least one year within the last three years.
