Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a high-acuity, high-volume healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care to obstetric patients, including high-risk pregnancies, postpartum treatment, and managing delivery procedures. The role supports a diverse patient population with a focus on high standards of clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Education and Experience Requirements: Valid license in a relevant field, at least 2 years of experience in high-acuity obstetric care, including postpartum and delivery, with proficiency in Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin, Foley management, postpartum hemorrhage, and EPIC electronic health record system.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include providing postpartum and obstetric care for high-risk patients, managing postpartum hemorrhage, and utilizing specialized procedures such as Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin.
• Candidates must have experience with high-risk obstetric care, including magnesium sulfate administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, and EPIC documentation.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility previously, along with two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
