Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse Location not specified. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a high-volume, high-acuity obstetric unit. The role requires clinical expertise in managing high-risk obstetric cases and supporting patients through the childbirth process.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission; BLS and NRP certifications required; minimum of 2 years of high-risk obstetric care experience; experience with magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, Foley, postpartum hemorrhage, and EPIC charting system.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Managing postpartum treatment following delivery, supporting high-risk obstetric patients, overseeing high acuity care, and managing a census surge with the possibility of managing four couplets.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with substance withdrawal, JADA, and EPIC is required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required at Issaquah and Edmonds Campuses, including postpartum and labor and delivery units.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior work at Providence facilities and provide two references covering one year within the last three years.
