Job Summary
L&D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse - Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing comprehensive care in an acute care setting for a busy Labor and Delivery department performing 45 to 65 births per month, with increased activity during the summer months. The role requires collaboration with OB physicians and a certified nurse-midwife to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift from 6:45 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications and Experience: Valid BLS Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); at least 2 years of clinical experience in an L&D setting.
• Responsibilities include caring for well babies, postpartum moms, and labor and delivery patients.
• Charting System: Paragon.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in an acute division with a trauma-level care setting. The hospital may cancel up to four shifts per 13-week contract, with full hours paid in lieu of cancellations.
