Job Summary

This role involves caring for patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, with a focus on high-risk deliveries, antepartum care, and substance abuse cases. The position includes circulating for cesarean sections and providing comprehensive maternal care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Unit includes 14 beds in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum, with 6 triage beds, 2 operating room suites, and 28 postpartum beds. Approximately 250 births occur per month.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring Advanced for L&D, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.
• Certifications required: ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS Certification, NRP.
• Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), every other week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must circulate for cesarean sections; scrubbing experience preferred. Floating to postpartum may be required; postpartum staff will not float to L&D. Orientation involves 3 shifts. Offerings include day and night shifts.
• Other details: No in-house OB/Neonatologist; available if needed. No RT 24/7, but pharmacy available 24/7.
• Note: Candidates must have a valid license to submit.
