Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse in en_US. The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced RN to join the cardiovascular operating room team within an acute care setting. The role involves performing a variety of cardiothoracic procedures and providing critical surgical support in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse
• Specialty: OR - Open Heart
• Location: en_US Healthcare facility
• Shift: 10-hour days, with call responsibilities, working every other weekend and first to float within the OR to other specialties.
• Schedule: 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room and general OR procedures, experience with cardiothoracic surgeries such as CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy, and scrubbing is not required but preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CVOR cases, ability to take CVOR call, knowledge of Cerner EMR.
• Additional Information: Float rotation may be required. The position involves working in the Main OR and on general OR cases when CVOR cases are not scheduled. The unit operates on a hospital cancellation policy allowing up to 4 shifts canceled in a 13-week period, with the first orientation week or until the candidate is comfortable.
