Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Georgia
This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Room at a regional trauma and stroke receiving center. The role involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population, including high-acuity cases, within a state-of-the-art facility. The ER team operates with an emphasis on efficiency, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.

Job Details

• Location: Georgia
• Shift: Days, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Position Description: Responsible for caring for patients presenting with conditions such as chest pain, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, uncontrolled diabetes, and falls, primarily aged 20-90 years. Must function effectively in a resource-limited, fast-paced environment.
• Required Certifications (combined): BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience.
• Additional Qualifications: Ability to work independently in high acuity situations, proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts on an alternating schedule, averaging at least 36 hours weekly.
• Responsibilities: Manage high patient volumes, collaborate with medical team, perform all necessary assessments and interventions, and utilize appropriate telemonitoring technology.
• Additional Information: This assignment is not suitable for new ER nurses. Candidate must be self-sufficient, experienced in small, fast-paced facilities, and comfortable with high-acuity patient care and transfer processes.
