Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse is needed for a critical care setting in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care for neuro-critical patients, including those with cerebrovascular events, neuro surgical conditions, and neuro-medical disorders, in a dedicated Neuro Critical Care Unit.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Critical Care Specialty
• Location: Healthcare facility within the organizations service region
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, start date is 09/28/2026, end date 12/26/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 0 years of experience required, facility location within the organizations service region
• Additional Information:
  • Responsible for advanced hemodynamic monitoring, intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, and ventilated patients.
  • Assist with line insertion and maintenance, including ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, external ventricular drains (EVD), PA lines, and waveform interpretation.
  • Care for patients with neuro conditions such as stroke (ischemic and hemorrhagic), brain and spine abscesses, tumors, meningitis, encephalitis, and neuro-muscular disorders.
  • Skills in managing pressors, inotropes, vasoactive medications, and post-surgical drains/tubes are required.
  • Certifications required: BLS and ACLS.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
