Job Summary
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Atlanta, GA. This position involves working on a fast-paced 4B Moderate Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular and presurgical patient care. The role offers an opportunity to develop critical care skills, enhance assessment abilities, and gain experience with a wide variety of cardiovascular procedures and diagnoses.

- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess an active Georgia or compact nursing license, have at least 18 months of experience in the specialty within the past 3 years, and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting. Additional requirements include passing the onsite dysrhythmia test, and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Responsible for caring for presurgical patients, with the unit accommodating LVADs, drips, arterial lines, and PA catheters.
- The role requires proficiency in managing patients with PA lines, rare vents, no IABP, no Impellas, and the ability to monitor patients post-procedure with potential observation needs.
- The candidate will need to pass a proctored dysrhythmia test administered by the organization and work in a dynamic environment characterized by high patient turnover.
- No float rotation is required.
- The assignment duration is 13 weeks, beginning September 28, 2026, and concluding December 26, 2026.
