Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Sapulpa This role involves providing direct nursing care within the Medical Surgical specialty at a healthcare organization. The position focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating discharge planning, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Sapulpa
• Certifications, Education, Degree, Experience, and Location Requirements: Valid Nursys License, Professional Driver's License or State ID, Ascension Profile, two professional references, and an up-to-date resume. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical specialty.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating patient conditions, serving as a primary coordinator of disciplines, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing discharge planning needs.
• Additional Information: The unit offers a Skilled Care Program (Swing Bed), providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapies to aid patient transition from hospital to home or long-term care facility.
