Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse in Weatherford, TX. This role involves providing specialized care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery in a busy hospital setting. The position is part of a rotating weekend schedule, with a focus on immediate newborn care, PACU, and cesarean section procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certifications are required.
• Education Requirements: Valid RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialized experience in labor and delivery; minimum of 0 years required.
• Location Requirements: This position is located in Weatherford, TX.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience performing procedures such as C-sections, immediate newborn care, PACU, and recovery. Skills in mediating labor and delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal care are essential. Ability to scrub in on C-section procedures and experience with Meditech electronic documentation system are preferred.
