Job Summary
Lactation Specialist Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing expert support for postpartum care, including assistance with couplet care, in a healthcare setting. The position requires a dedicated professional to deliver patient-centered care during night shifts, supporting families and ensuring optimal health outcomes.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BSN, Certification as an International Board of Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from the International Board of Lactation Consultation Examiners (IBCLE), must live 50 miles away from the facility, and have at least 0 years of experience.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsible for fulfilling the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
  • Must have Postpartum experience and be able to assist in couplet care when needed.
  • Valid license and IBCLC certification are required for this position.
  • Submission of application must include verification of required certifications and licensure.
