The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Saint Albans, VT. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a step-down unit, with responsibilities including managing vented patients, basic cardiac drips, insulin protocols for diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) patients, and responding to emergency situations such as Rapid Response and Code Blue events. Job Details

• Location: Saint Albans, VT
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
• Certification, Education, Degree, Location, and Experience Requirements: Valid Vermont RN license or multistate compact license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), 3-4 years of Critical Care experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting from 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/13/2026.
• Responsibilities include caring for vented patients with respiratory therapy support, managing cardiac and insulin drips, and responding effectively to emergency protocols.
